Our Services

Children (6-12)

We provide child therapy for ages 6 to 12 to support emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. Our approach helps children build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and gain confidence at home and in school. We commonly support concerns such as child anxiety, ADHD, behavior challenges, school issues, and social difficulties through engaging, age-appropriate therapy.

Teens (13-17)

Our teen therapy services help adolescents navigate stress, anxiety, depression, and the challenges of growing up. We provide a safe, supportive space where teens can build coping strategies, improve communication, and strengthen self-esteem. Common focus areas include teen anxiety, depression, peer relationships, school stress, and emotional regulation.

Young Adults

We offer therapy for adults navigating life transitions, independence, and increased responsibilities. Sessions focus on developing healthy coping skills, managing stress, and building confidence. We commonly address anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem, and adjustment challenges.

About Alissa

Owner, MSW, LCSW

I’m so glad you’re here!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (C019153) and the owner of Live Well Child and Family Therapy. I’m passionate about creating a space where others feel heard, understood, and supported.

I believe that therapy should feel safe, comfortable, and collaborative (not intimidating). Everyone deserves a safe space to express themselves. My goal is to meet people where they are, build on their strengths, and create an approach that feels manageable for them.

I have experience working supporting others through concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, self-esteem, school-related difficulties, relationships, and life transitions.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each individual and family’s needs. I draw from evidenced based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care. I adapt each approach to an individuals age, needs, and goals.
